Google Are Now Offering Free Websites For Local Businesses
Yep.... That's right....Google officially released their very own single page website builder which has been designed with local businesses in mind. They are focusing in on making it easy for small businesses that don’t currently have a website and simply can not afford to have one built by a web designer.

What is great about this new offering from Google is that the whole thing is so easy to set up. Google Website is free, integrates perfectly with GMB )Google My Business), is mobile responsive (of course), and is also ads-ready for AdWords.
All you need to get started is to have a Google My Business Page set up, then you can access the new Website feature from within your verified Google My Business account.
Just log in to your GMB account and select Manage Location, from there you will be able to select website from the menu and Google will use the information from your Google My Business listing to populate the one page website. You can also access the new feature by going to the Landing Page.
If you you are creating your Google My Business page set up from scratch, you will be prompted to add the new Website upon creating a listing. “yourcompanyname.business.site.” will be the url structure of the free included domain name, but you can also purchase a more custom domain which Google will automatically link to your free website.
Once you have published your new Google Website, any changes that need to me made are done through GMB and the Website will be automatically updated.
Google’s new Website feature is designed with user-friendliness in mind and an easy way for more businesses to jump on board and get their own site up and running. Please bare in mind that this is a very basic website but is a stepping stone in the right direction and designed for those businesses who simply don’t have the budget or the know-how to create their on-line presence.
